If you won’t sing in the car with me when we drive, we can’t be friends
The only problem I really have with the whole Michael Brown situation… and other incidents just like this one is that this is ONLY time blacks come together. Let a black boy be killed by a black man, yes we’ll be upset but we wouldn’t be protesting and carrying on like this. You can’t choose when you want to stand up and defend your race. You can’t openly disrespect your own race and expect other races to take you seriously. I just wish everyone would understand this. Yes whites are wrong for mistreating us and downplaying our race like we don’t matter but it starts at home. Home meaning Africa. They came to our home and destroyed our homes/families to work for them bc they weren’t smart enough and man enough to take care of themselves; and when they realized that we could overpower them, they scared us into believing our lives were in their hands. They made us believe that we could no longer be our own person bc were now their property. We as a whole have to realize that yes we may be free to do what we want but we still must think smarter in order to be treated equally. We still have to work twice as hard to be respected, to be seen as a PERSON not a color, to even walk down the street without being shot at for what seems like fun to them. It just sickens me that we feel like we can demand respect from other races when we don’t even respect ourselves. Yes they’re wrong for the things they do to us but we give them the okay to do so when we carry ourselves the way we do. All I’m saying is, this isn’t going to change until we work on bettering ourselves as a whole. It starts at home.
Autopsy report showed that mike brown had no drugs in his system and the store owners said that there was no robbery so what the fuck else do you racist ass whites want
